Have We Seen Peak Hillary?

The media are obsessed with destroying Trump and pissing on his grave, but over on the dark side, events seem to be playing out just like the republican race, only in slow motion, perhaps befitting the advanced ages of the two candidates.. The peasants are out in full force waving pitchforks. They keep voting for a crazy old socialist despite increasingly shrill commands from Hillary to knock it off.

Even as he has tapped into the anti-establishment vein mined so adroitly by Trump, Bernie has kept it largely out of the mudpit. Given what a fat target Hillary and her lifetime of ethical scrapes present, that must have been hard for him. It appears he may be loosening up a bit though. Now he has punched back after her media allies have piled on him. He suggested that her close ties to big corporate money, etc render her unqualified.

That's the headline. The real news however is in the comments to this Washington Post article. They are every bit as anti-Hillary as you would expect to find in a right wing blog. This is the WashPost, not Breitbart however. I think you have to be a sub to comment although I can't say for sure. What I can say is that their readership is overwhelmingly democrat and liberal. From the sound of these comments, Hillary is about as welcome as their candidate as Jeb! was to republicans. This cannot be good news to her or the party.

Performance art, AAA?

As an aside, and just as a point of interest, wasn't Romney doing better than Trump in the primaries at this point four years ago?

I don't know. He certainly didn't have Fox News and the entire liberal media after him.
You loved him then, you hate him now, but his politics are the same. So it's you, he doesn't serve you anymore. Because he lost. You don't care who wins so long as they're a rightie. Pro abortion, anti abortion, pro spending, anti spending, high tax, low tax, you could give a shit. Just "do something about the darkies!"

The networks would allow their shills to show how the Hildabeast had a hard time handling getting on the subway. But no further. No reporting on how she broke the law by campaigning on the subway while city officials looked on. And city officials did nothing. People who break the subway laws are routinely ticketed and fined in NYC. Usually 125 bucks according to the article.
But not this time.

And man of the people Bernie Sanders, who grew up in Brooklyn, thought they still used tokens on the subway. Something they haven't done since 2003.

He's too busy being a man of the people driving around in a 175grand car.

I don't think that is his car. Not that it matters. He owns a Chevrolet. But he may have taken it for a spin. You know, to see how the other half (or the top .0000001%) live.

Nothing hypocritical about the Clintons, nothing at all.

The Clintons and their family foundation have at least five shell companies registered to the address 1209 North Orange Street in Wilmington, Delaware — which is also home to some 280,000 other companies who use the location to take advantage of the state's low taxes, limited disclosure requirements, and other business incentives.

Two of the five are tied to Bill and Hillary Clinton specifically. One, WJC, LLC, is used by the former president to collect his consulting fees. The other, ZFS Holdings, LLC, was used by the former secretary of state to process her $5.5 million book advance from Simon & Schuster. Three additional shell companies belong to the Clinton Foundation.

There is nothing illegal about the Clintons' decision to take advantage of Delaware's tax laws. However, on the campaign traillast week, Hillary Clinton criticized the "super-rich" who use "outrageous tax havens and loopholes" to pay fewer taxes. She pledged that, as president, she would "shut down the so-called private tax system for the mega-wealthy," including legal tax avoidance activities, in order to "make sure that everyone pays their fair share here in America." once she gets the nomination and Sanders is gone, you will never hear a discouraging word about Hillary. democrats are extremely loyal and facts mean very little to them compared to their fear of the other side
