So you are trying to use a laboratory study done with dummies and claim it has any significant bearing on the real world experience. Non-N95 Masks are very efficient at stopping the transmission of Covid but not very efficient at stopping the reception of Covid. This has been proven in dozens of real-world studies at this point.

Bottom line: In a public indoor environment with high local COVID prevalence masks are proven to greatly reduce the spread of Covid if everyone wears them.

But give it a shot with recent data... Data which includes second and third waves.

A doctor on TV said, not all the masks are the same. I have been saying that for a while. An engineer actually, did a test of the various masks and their filtration rates. Most failed the test. Only the N95 type masks used by doctors and nurses and KN95 type masks now widely available and 1 grade lower showed good filtration rates. Anthony Fauci to this day, has not differentiated the type of masks and how effective it is even in preventing one from breathing Corona Virus droplets in the air. And people are surprised that Corona Virus is spreading? Masks give the user a false sense of security when they are actually, wearing useless masks which does nothing to protect them from the Corona Virus.
