where can you find it? how much does it cost?

I tried to short it today on IB but I didn't get any fills. Ameritrade had no shares to short either.

I just checked the IB site it claims there is 4K shares available to short but I couldn't get any yesterday so I'm not sure if it is actually available.

Synthetic short would only cost about 15 cents now.

5 cents to buy a $40 July put
10 cents to give to the buyer of a $40 call.

eg. stock bid at 88

buy $40 put at 5 cents
sell $40 call at 67.90

you have a synthetic short at 87.85 (excluding commissions).

Are you nuts? Wait until insiders start selling after their shares unlock. Just wait for 6 month or so.

the numbers seem to be off. if you sold the $40 call at 67.90 your break even is 107.90. if you bought the put for .05 your break even is 107.85.

it is an obvious typo. $40 call is $47.90.
I don't like it. you are subject to early exercise.
