I'll reiterate what I have stated for years-- the influx of the FX traders was the first sign of the site going downhill. Some of these guys stayed around and that's where the trouble comes from. That and crank stealth vendors-- one guy threatened to sue me for calling him out, etc. Unreal!

Some of the trouble, I'll grant you. But I've long thought those FX traders who trust their strategies to MetaTrader are idiots. "Free" trading software? Please! TANSTAAFL

Absolutely. ET's greatest asset is probably it's archives. For the initiated, there is a priceless amount of good info tucked away in the archives. But very few newbies these days really come here to learn. I think the culture has changed there as well.

I agree with this. While I have been a dick at times regarding TA, and paid the price for it, I would never attack anyone personally-- like I see/saw going on here nonstop recently. The noobs no longer want to learn they want it now and if it doesn't work for them they want to destroy what they see as being successful.

There used to be serious comradeship on this site. I still have several close friends I made here back in the 2004-2007 era, the very fun Surf Fests, and even the trading expos were entertaining. Now that feeling is completely gone. very sad. surf

They at least seem like different people with different personalities. This would be a sophisticated case of dual handle if true.

Yes, but then ET is an organization with a product. Organizations "fall out of favor" and make comebacks.

This site allows users to monetize their content and creates an incentive for users to "create value" since they actually can get paid for their content. This could generate far more revenue for Baron and bring real quality to this site.
