Just been hearing of people getting their accounts liquidated at IB because of margin requirements changing. I dont have an account there, but I know alot of you guys on here do. Anyone get liquidated today and think this might be partially why the market dropped today?
has the market tanked because of online brokers?

If margins have gone up its probably the exchanges have increased overnight margin. I dont think you can really blame the brokers.
I did get my account partially liquidated, due to some kind of change, but doubt that have much of an impact in the greather scheme of things 
close.
it's the over-leveraged institutions/hedge-funds de-leveraging.
