Has ET reached the Tipping Point?

Agree on all counts.

ET post quality and activity has cratered. I'd pay a modest membership fee to Baron to keep the crap out. I would also pay a fee to another quality forum...

In most cases, once a significant line is crossed it is hard to fully cross back to the previous side. For example, if a person crosses from normal to insane and then tries to become sane again, in my opinion they will never entirely be able to cross back over that said line.


This site crossed from serious to entertainment a LONG time ago, and i highly doubt it will come back to the other side.


This site is viewed as a joke as far as trading goes, at least in my eyes it is viewed in that context.


The internet is a WEIRD place.
 
I will make ONE quality post just for shits and giggles.


1. Look left and trade right.

2. Trade other traders' emotions, DO NOT trade the chart.

If a trading thread is started up eventually it will be trashed until the poster sees no point in continuing.

I regret to say that as a trader I observed the developing trash trend and expected a drop off in posting. Also, animosities from the Politics and Religion section have spilled over into the trading forums. We now have posters getting attacked in trading and their threads being down-rated simply because some assclowns didn't like what they posted in P&R. The whole thing is incredibly childish; maybe it is time to look for a more disciplined trading board.

BTW allowing posters to have a gazillion sockpuppets has never helped ANY forum I've been to.
