Has anyone traded on a Laptop with

they used to offer the 1920x1280 screen resolution called UXGA , but that is increasingly hard to find, and if your screen was not built with that in mind, then you can't simply just vary resolutions and achieve same.

using UXGA, the charts and other graphic intensive display pictures had sharp clarity that rivaled HDTV screens.

the most depth commonly offered now is 1680x1050 and those resolutions were clunky blocks of text that makes looking at a chart unpleasant, but sample what you can at a large retailer and see what you can...

I have two glossy 15.4" shiny wide-screens (13" by 8"). I first wondered about the gloss of a dead screen. Once you have a picture on it, it's OK. In fact I believe these screens give you more contrast and depth of color.

My resolution is 1280 by 800 pixels. For trading, I can't see any need for higher resolutions on this type of 15.4" notebook.
