Has anyone here been to Dominica

Any of you clowns been to Dominica, (the Caribbean island, not the Dominican Republic)?

Where did you stay, what did you do and what did you think?

Thinking about a trip there this summer, the draw is the unspoiled nature offered there. A true escape from it all.
 
Don't know about where to stay as I sailed there.

Stuff I enjoyed:
snorkelling especially through the "champagne" and on the reefs; hike to the boiling lake; whale watching; hike to Middlelhem Falls; and there is a canyon you swim through and at the end there are two small falls-one hot and one cold to shower under.

Really cool island, unless shopping is what you are after. Best to get a guide as some of these hikes are tough, messy and muddy, but lots of fun.
