Has anyone gone to Trader's Expo?

Its it worth going to all by itself? Maybe. Less so if you are an experienced trader.

Its it worth going to when its in las vegas? Definitely. Can someone say tax deductible trip?
 
I go for the free pens, booze , and to flirt with The A.B. Watley sluts. A have only met a small handful of traders at these.
 
I take one long afternoon to go to the Chicago Expo and I go to the booths believe it or not - I get lots of neat ideas for improving my own software from watching how other software works. I also have gotten some great comission deals by gowing and meeting people face to face.

The actual presentations are rarely worth it for me and I will go to one or two, but really it depends on where in what stage of your career you are at imo.

I have never been to a paid presentation so I cannot comment on those.
