Their natural level according to % of National Merit Semifinalists is about 35%, the Ivies have a quota of 16% +/- 2%. A clear case of discrimination.
A clear case of wanting a diverse student body as they should and The Supreme Court has twice ruled as constitutional.
How does excluding an ethnic minority make the student body more diverse? It's the same thing they were doing to Ashkenazi Jews 60 years ago. They were capped at 3-10% back then, now they are at about 25%.

Asians at Harvard are more than their percentage of the US population.Whites and blacks are the ones being shortchanged with a much lower percentage at Harvard compared to their percentage of the US population.
These are individual applications, and Asians score high enough that the numbers are being suppressed. Ashkenazi Jews are only 3% of the population, and they make up ~25 percent of Ivy League admits.
The number and percent of National Merit Semifinalists (about 1/2 of the top 1% of PSAT test takers) is a good proxy for Ivy League admits. Asians are about 35% of these.

They're going to have to fight to get to their natural level of about 35%, just like Jews did.
