I don’t think you understand the way these statues and vestiges are regarded among black people. Then you want to talk about harmony. There will be no harmony with this stuff around. Affirmative action in what? There is actually a consensus that affirmative action mainly benefitted white women, when it was legal.

You're right. We should get rid of everything rooted in evil. Remind me again what party started the KKK and was in support of Slavery and removal of Indians in the 1800s? But lets get more to the ROOTs of it. Who founded the Democrat Party? Van Buren....a slave holder and a man STRONGLY against the abolishing of slavery.

From the angle of campaigning on reparations, I do disagree. This is something that if it were done, which I disagree with, it should be done as a constitutional amendment, imo.
