Although the dems and pubs salivate over Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro is Jewish and dems are antisemitic on one hand, or on the other hand many are jewish and the Jews are pissed at Biden and Kamala for obvious reasons. Too much of a minefield to walk into.

All the pundits and bookies are putting money on Mark Kelly because he is allegedly a winner and Arizona is a swing state. Not gonna happen. The governor would get to appoint his replacement short term until the next state election or hold a special election but then the seat would be up for grabs. Dems cannot afford to lose that seat.

Harris would like to have Buttigieg because far left women like low T men but that is not going to happen. He is too much like Kamala..ie he is able to bloviate at length about his accomplishments but then you blink and can't remember a single thing he did. Oh, he appeared in front of the camera to say "we will do everything to replace the Baltimore bridge." Okay fine, I guess. I could do that too. Now tell us about your no-show in Palestine Ohio until six months later or whatever it was. Okay, dems, I get it. I am homophobic to point out that he has not done anything.

There is the Bashear guy in Kentucky but I am not sure the state is swing statey enough to waste the slot on him.

And there is the Maryland gov who gets talked about but the ticket is already "of color" so they do not need him.

Nice, reasonably safe bet. How 'bout throw a few $ behind Tim Walz as a lottery ticket? Buy him now and sell before the final announcement. He'll rise. I feel that's a decent move. Looks like an arb possibility too.

Or full long shot w/ Wes Moore... although I just saw him say he'd decline (in not so many words).

Wes Moore is the "Maryland gov" I mentioned. Not gonna happen. Kamala already covering the obligatory "of color" slot on the ticket. Wes Moore not needed. Also, Wes Moore, is a weird one. He looks spiffy on paper and in the media but there is a pretty good sized controversy over several years of his life on his resume. He has put up a lot and I do mean a lot of made up sh#t on his resume- years worth. And it gets really weird, really fast when the media lean into occasionally. The controversy sort of blew over once he got elected governor but it was issue while he was running.

If she wants to go full radical left Susan Rice would fit the bill nicely. Has the perfect resume', and lies with a straight face as good as anyone in the political realm. Hubby is well placed in MSM for assistance. Checks the right boxes. Democrats should go for all the marbles and Rice as VP gets them there. Full commie brings out the masses who vote left. Probability of victory is high.
If they play it safe and go with some white guy for "balance" they'll lose.
Actually we need an extreme choice, go hard one direction or the other and live with the outcome. This middle of the road shit ain't working.
