Q2 earnings terrible. Cutting a bunch of jobs.

An ordinary person would think the stock price would tumble, but in fact it skyrocketed this morning.

I'm going to start selling the good news and buying the bad....
 
I suggest you learn to trade 1st. HOG's second quarter earnings were anticipated months in advance of their release, keep in mind stock market is a forward looking mechanism and what is traded now is the Q3, Q4 earnings in light of the cost cuts.
 
I don't trade. I buy positions for long term but enjoy reading the boards to see what people think. Day traders ruin the ultimate purpose of the stock market.
