Hardest thing for my Trading now

is being attentive and ready when the opportunity develops.

I'm finding it very difficult to keep my concentration level up to make sure I'm ready to take a trade when the setup occurs.

I'm usually distracted by email, phone call..etc.. its so easy to turn away from the screen and miss that great setup.

there are 2 types of distractions:

Distractions you cannot control,

and

distractions you can control.

Life is a decision.

Sounds like you're looking for excuses.

If you're a trader and this is your primary means of income then don't check email from 9:30 to 4:00. If the phone rings check caller ID and pick it up if it's truly an important call. Otherwise the person calling can leave a message on your voice mail and you can return the call after the market closes.

Code a Paintbar, and set up an alert. Sure, you won't be able to code it to perfection, as if you were watching it like a hawk. But it will at least get your attention.
