HANS

Quote from BrandNewTrader:

didn't trade this one today. however older trader on my desk was looking to short this from premarket. He cited the missed earnings and the fact that HANS is worthless if it's not blowing out earnings. Add to that the overall bearishness of the market and he was convinced he was right. I think he was short big size all day...

if he really did so, his pos went against him by at least $2, with size that's a huge paper loss.

i'd stick to poker if i where you guys or toss coins you'll probably have better odds

large gaps down have usually better odds than anythin' else and r/r is more or less unbeatable; problem with hans is the excess volatility and deceptive lack of clear direction, most stocks down 10-20% in premkt are usually very profitable to short.

yea if he went short at the open he most likely covered his position after it showed strength and traded above $34.00

Is that a statistic???? I have seen stocks bounce back like SBUX did last week. Today when i was watching HANS i thought wow this stock could be headed for 35++ then by 2pm it gave up and started sinking like a rock.

no it aint...sbux was a joy to long...higher lows higher highs all day...there's a pattern the tells the tale for goin' long or short...hans was deceptive i have to admit.

cramer talking again

said Multiple contraction is a hidden cancer effecting all high mulitple stocks...

1. Fed rasisng rates = dont own a high multiple stock

2. shouldnt buy a stock with a multiple 2x the growth rate

3. Said they are priced for perfection.

4. All analyst know they need to beat not meet.

said hans is done...

this guy is too funny....he was hyping that one for months and months

Quote from Bitstream:

yes, the guy is at least 2months late with his assesment of mkt sentiment.

oh he is.... Its always after the fact. If he came out with this segment before WFMI, SBUX and HANS reported I would give him major credit but after the fact makes me laugh. He hyped up FIZ about 4 months ago. He is hyping up GM to 40 and thinks AAPL is headed to 100

Bitstream

not questioning your ability but a lot of guys seemed to get burned on this one and thats who i was refering too
