Quite simply because the argument is disingenuous. It's like the "do you condemn Hamas?" question, or the "having a cease fire now is being anti-Israel", or "the silence on sexual violence from pro-Palestinians is deafening". Don't tell me you actually believe the "we won't stop until terrorism is defeated" from Bush et.al?
IOW: it's cover for "shut up about Israel's heavy hand on Gaza".
I think it is straight forward.....no matter what happened or will happaned, Hamas cannot continue to be in charge. It is not mutually exclusive to condemn Israel's heavy handed approach and say Hamas has to go.
Hamas has to go no matter what happened since Oct 7th or even before. Speaking out against Hamas is not racist or anti-Palestinian. But on Oct 7th it got real quiet that Hamas has to go or any support from the world that Hamas has to go. Saying Hamas has to go was shouted down with "You support Israel killing children" really?
Seems people were so upset over Israel's apartheid they were willing to accept Hamas. One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.
Anti-semitism took a huge spike yet anti-Hamas words disappeared because of Israel.
Remember those pics from yesterday about the Palestinians in the road handcuffed sitting in their underwear surrounded by Israeli soldiers. Saw numerous posts that said IDf forces shot them in the head in front of their families in public followed by huge outrage. As of right now, no corroboration or follow up stories but the posts are going viral. Same with the IDF claiming babies were burned and mutilated later proven false. So people are simply posting what fits their narrative and the truth is irrelevant.
A Congressmans says Hamas has to go and your response is, he takes money from Pro-Israel Pacs.... so.....that means Hamas has to go is now pro genocide and should not be said?
As I said...if Israel never retaliated with one bullet, Hamas still has to go and should not be allowed to be in power.
It is amazing to me how many pearls got clutched over Israel's military action (which I agree was burning down the forest to kill a few trees) but suddenly Hamas is untouchable and terrorists walking into homes and shooting families suddenly goes away. Lots of funny posts how the hostages were well treated...like there were good slaveowners in the 1800s in the U.S.
The entire world is marching for the Palestinians but not one of those countries is willing to do anything to help the Palestinians or condemn Hamas.....so it is all just social media talk. The world gives two shits about IDf forces bombing houses and killing civilians outside of Insta posts...
