On second thought, you're probably right. I added the "Ramallah, Jenin, and the entire Gaza strip would be quickly transformed into a sea of glass by the IAF" part in as an afterthought. It didn't seem logical that Damascus would get carpet bombed and those Pali areas be spared, when the latter are far more directly complicit in terrorist atrocities.
Then again- when it comes to government, nothing makes sense.
