You guys even predict the times when there is no argument, that ad hominem, or shoot the messenger, all the classic signs of simple frustration from being wrong, type retorts take place. Think of the hospitals and other services that charge based on 'ability to pay' - some pay $50,000, some pay $5,000 for the same services. Is that wrong? Doctors adjust to these types of financial structures, why can't the rest of this great country of ours?
Look, I can sell a few hundred puts and calls to generate money, monitor the risk, and do fine. Some are actually struggling just to pay rent. I am all for work-fare, as being 'fair' but you can't expect everyone to pay, dollar for dollar, when their lot in life is just not what we hope it would be. Not just the lazy are impacted, some pretty solid people have been affected this time around. Much like the 30's all over again.
