H1-b Visas Are A Betrayal

H1-B VISAS are being handed out like cotton candy at a football game, and there is no rhyme or reason to it except that people are making money from it. When unemployment was non-existant nobody cared, including myself, but during hard times it is crazy. There is double digit unemployment among IT workers, and yet the h1 visas are flowing like crazy for IT workers. When you throw in the effects of outsourcing to places like India, there is total devastation going on in the labor market. The government is obviously turning a blind eye to the whole thing, not even the democrats are seizing this issue, obviously a lot of people are getting paid off in congress. The american government is not taking care of its people in this regard and the voters need to start screaming.

Maybe they have skills sets which the locals don't, which is about the only way they can get an H1...
