Gurus Trading Their Own Systems?!

Quote from rhymeswithorang:

I head that Paul Tudor Jones cut neighbors' grass until he made his first 100 million. But it was mostly to keep from getting bored with just making mere millions

Yeah and Jim Rogers details motorcycles to pick up extra money.

Met a pro trader today who builds homes and ownes a restaurant as well. I down look down on her for diversification. You can enjoy more then one thing.. no rules saying you can only be successful at one thing in life.

Quote from rhymeswithorang:

John D. Arnold, of Centaurus fame (the other side of Amaranth) is going to start a nat gas trading website where he will dispense trading advice for $19.95 a month. He figures that if he gets 75,187,970 subscriptions, he can double his money. He's always had the entreprenuerial bug.

The Jones Man also expanded out and has offices all over the world and takes a % off his employee traders profits which is also another income stream and when you have traders working ofr you as good as the ones he has (a few I think were as least as good) it is great income. He built a business he is not just a trader and also has a massive charity and loads of other projects.

Quote from Rocko1:

If you make more money doing something besides trading, then it becomes obvious that your talent lies in whatever you do primarily, and not trading; therefore you shouldn't qualify as a "guru".
