Guru Dennis Bolze missing

He was sentenced to six years in prison, but received a suspended sentence and was placed on supervised probation and fined $1,000, plus court costs.

fined 1K?

Bolze pleaded guilty in 2001 to four counts of failure to file sales tax returns and failure to pay sales tax.

He was sentenced to six years in prison, but received a suspended sentence and was placed on supervised probation and fined $1,000, plus court costs.

The plea and sentencing was in court documents that were recently unsealed.
So he cut a deal to avoid 6 years in prison and got probation. What kind of probation would have overlooked his spending and business activities???

How many people got hurt because of a judge that said, 'this is a non-violent crime so you get off with probation'?

Amazing...

I'd argue that he's not Southern since he's from Pennsylvania except he's from that large area between Philly and Pittsburg called "Pennsyltucky".

Dennis had some simple, straightforward ideas for trading that really cleared things up for me. The one really big put-off was his extreme political views. I'm as conservative as the next guy, but Dennis was like a Rush Limbaugh clone.

Explain to me how someone who rarely had a profitable month could have anything of value to say about trading?

That kind of logic pretty much sums up the entire industry from the floor, brokerages, newsletters, vendors, websites, forums and posters doesn't it? :D

Much as he claimed to dislike being an analyst he was actually a pretty good one, he could call and execute trades in real time based on his methodology while in his trading room and live seminars (all in simulation mode as it turns out). Apparently when there was real $ on the line he quickly turned to jello and his approach fell apart.

There's some value to be found in a lot of strange places, even ET.
