Hey! Why don't you go help out an SCT trader.
He's got an "accountability" thread where he shows that he's not doing so well.
Heheh - I think, perhaps, you might have overlooked a couple ideas in my journal. Sometimes a simple reread can help drive home the more salient points. A few of those being:
- although I have been at this game for a good many years (off and on, that is), trying every combination of canned indicators that I could possibly slap together, for some strange reason, consistent profitability has always eluded me, both in live and simulated trading
- the main purpose of the journal was to generate a bit of emotional pressure for myself (public scrutiny), as we all realize how simulated trading pales miserably when compared to the psychological factors of live trading
- I showed up at the Hershey/Spydertrader door packin a shitload of bad habits acquired through my aforementioned tribulations
- any stated personal frustrations are directly correlated to my inability to apply the methods as taught. In other words, I am trying hard to somehow escape my scalper mentality (risk aversion syndrome)
Bottom line here, boys - considering where I've come from and to where I am going, I'm as happy as a pig-in-shit - hahaha!
Have a very pleasant Easter!
