92: The number of people who die in car accidents every day.
108: Daily suicides
1579: Daily cancer deaths

How many of the above deaths were with legally owned firearms? How would you solve this?

(the above question will, as usual, be met with silence from fraudcurrents)

Thereby getting all the respect it deserves.

Why is it unreasonable to ask how you would ban illegal weapons? Because it's hard to answer?

It's unreasonable to ask how one would accomplish a pie-in-the-sky directive? Or is it that Liberals are good at posing potential solutions but not implementing them?

Well thought out analysis! However, you misunderstand I don't want all guns banned (outright, like right now this minute).

I want to phase the worst of them out, the most dangerous of the lot, over time. A little at a time. fully auto, banned. now, lets reduce clip size for the semi's so some nutcase can't blow away 15 or 30 people in a heartbeat without PAUSING to reach for another clip. That's a good start. Keep chipping away at it, making guns and gun ownership safer and generally less and less available, and guess what pretty soon violence perpetrated with a gun becomes scarcer.

Let's just take the reducing "clip" size. Did you know that I can take two low capacity magazines, turn them upside-down from each other, tape them together with duct tape and fire 20 rounds in less than 10 seconds, just like I can do with one 20 round magazine?

There is a 2 second delay in the difference. I've personally timed it.

So what, exactly, do you think the 2 seconds it takes someone to reload will provide? Please match these 2 seconds up against the cost and restriction of reducing "clip" size from 20 to 10.
Well, if you were going to charge the assailant a la Ben Carson, I think you'd appreciate a 2-second reprieve. Just saying.

But that wouldn't solve anything. Even when I remove a magazine from the gun and replace it with another, there is still a bullet left in the chamber. The magazine doesn't have to be in the gun to fire the bullet already in the chamber. So I fire 9 shots, take out the mag to replace (but one bullet is in the gun). If someone is stupid enough to charge me during that time, he gets shot. No effect at all.

if you understood or used firearms, this would already be known to you.

LOL I'm pretty sure you can, and no I didn't know that:D

and i'll bet most of these nutcases won't know it either.

weak, weak argument man
