Gulf to earn $1.3 trillion from oil in two years

KUWAIT CITY (AFP) - The oil-rich Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states are projected to earn close to 1.3 trillion dollars in oil revenue in 2008 and 2009, a Kuwaiti economic report said on Saturday.

This does not even include all their long oil futures positions gains....the dirty little secret.

The British invaded India in part so they would not have to pay for the goods coming from India like cotton, spices ... first they invented some false pretence of a war, of course.

It seems like an age-old strategy - if you are paying a lot - invade them and use some bullshit story about how evil they are etc. You quickly get your country's top producers/commerce on board, as they can take part in the looting. It seems like it's still working.
