I never thought of it that way, but it seems you are most likely right, It is Putin's fault. It may turn out to be entirely Putin's fault. We'll know by next summer. Getting the money sorted out is going to be key to understanding the Trump-Putin connection. Trump has been in trouble before due to laundering. Paid a half million fine. Trump and Jared learned their trade well. Problem for them both now is that they are under a very bright spotlight. And what worked before to obfuscate various borderline financial transactions is not good enough now. If they don't get Trump on Treason, they will get him on Money Laundering; if the don't get him on laundering, they will get him on tax evasion. Then they'll throw in Obstruction like the cherry at the top of an ice cream sundae. They may get him on all of it. Won't that make a good movie!

Its laughable when Trump's fellow clowns think there is nothing to be found because no one has publicly come forward with provable charges less than 200 days into Trumps Term. (Ignoring totally Trumps long history of losing suits and paying fines, as if the criminal has suddenly found Jesus and is now a respectable businessman.) It took almost three years, if I recall correctly, from the Watergate Break-in to Nixon's getting into the Green Helicopter. It is going to take about that much time again. But by next summer the hand writing should be on the wall.

If, by next summer, you are no closer to linking Trump and Putin, will you finally admit you were wrong? Or will you dig your heels in and maintain the conspiracy the whole time like the birther nonsense with Obama?

He's being obstructed by all these fabricated out of thin air allegations which then somehow warrant an investigation. The entire government is bogged down with this nonsense, and it's a commonly used tactic by both left and right.

The entire government is not bogged down. Investigations are underway, but there often are of one kind or another. They don't consume all of government. Like Trump you're just harping on it and using it as an excuse because he can't get anything meaningful done due to his own incompetence and inability to focus. Why doesn't he wake up at 3AM and do some real work rather than reach for his Twitter phone? How exactly is Mueller preventing Trump from going about the business of running the government? Hypnosis? Trump is blaming his own incompetence on everyone but himself; the perennial victim's angst.

The bigger question is Why are you so vigorously defending a whiner who can do little more than point fingers all day?

When the times comes that I am proven wrong, I'll admit I am wrong. I am not going to conclude I am wrong at the beginning stages of the investigation. Each day that goes by I am more certain that I am right. When the investigation is complete, I will evaluate the results and decide whether I'm right or wrong. I have already admitted I was wrong to assume Trump would never get the nomination, let alone be elected.

I will not admit I am wrong about Trump's obvious close ties to Russians having something to do with Money, probably involving real estate transactions, possibly involving collusion with Russians to influence the outcome of the election via hacking, possibly involving tax evasion , possibly involving money laundering, possibly involving obstruction of justice, and possibly related to U.S. sanctions on Russia, and almost certainly involving Trump in one or more ways that is/are illegal under U.S. law, unless, and until, he is investigated and officially cleared of these possible transgressions. The circumstantial evidence is way to strong to allow any dispassionate observer to dismiss these strong possibilities. And that is precisely why there is a serious, and comprehensive investigation going on. Let's wait for it's conclusion!
