Guess all the futures traders here go to bed early , like 9pm

I see the big swinging here didnt think a 50 ES point move in two hours was epic.

When you paper trade, nothing is epic , which covers most of the folks commenting

if course it was not. Just code few lines and run it over 10 years. You will see many such “epics”. Epic is a very strong word for 50 points move when market at 3,300. When it was in 600s then perhaps your comment would have had more merit. You must be new and trade of very short term Charts.

eMini dropped more than 50 pts just yesterday late afternoon. Happens all the time.

Most likely it is happening again right this moment - 28 pts so far.

Four years and one month ago, we saw limit down overnight. Several hours later that move had been erased and the market closed sharply higher.

So a 1.5% move isn’t “Epic” in the literal sense of the word.

But thanks for the thread!

May or may not have been epic

The point was and is , considering the nonsense they post daily, the fact that I was the only one to start a thread on it was .............................................................................................epic

The May Crude Oil Futures Contract on April 20th was EPIC.

That is true, but we saw limit down AND up moves (I believe 1 on the up) in March of this year in the overnight (non-wall-street bell) sessions in the indices.

March was an epic month.
