Is it me, or does the Mandalorian seem more like a Star Wars comic strip rather than a good story? I mean, I WANT to like it, but all it seems to be is...

Mando starts a personal mission to try to get the foundling to wherever.

Mando gets roped into a sidequest on the way, to help whatever damsel is in distress.

Mando continues on with his mission to get the foundling to wherever.

It has gotten so predictable, it's gross. Disney is killing the franchise.

Oh, wait, it's Disney! It's "for the children".

At this point I watch it only to hear the old SW sound effects.

The mercenary chic? Well Katee Sackhoff is in it now too. OK she was a pinup girl more for lesbians but I have always liked her. The show is OK just I keep thinking Pedro Pascal's voice is too similar to Timothy Olyophant a lot of the time, who was also just in it.

Well acting is not a continuum, many duck out and back in doing work. When I was a little kid I was an extra on a show called Mr Merlin and Bill Bixby (remember him?) who was producing or directing mentioned he would have loved a part in Star wars to reframe him as an actor. What might have been.
