GS trading job

Quote from JCS:

Well that's about the response I expected. The best thing to do would be to go back and finish that last year of school.

Thanks for the replies....

Never hurts, but if you are profitable on your own why sell yourself out to GS or any other firm?

No, they will take undergrads with bank-experience as well as unrelated hard-science grad degrees.

and they checked my education

last 5 years jobs

they even called me about a 10 month gap in my resume when I was working for free at a high school.

I had to draft a letter to get it cleared up.

also drug test

Quote from MandelbrotSet:

GS is going to pull out a microscope and use it to look up your ass.

College transcripts
High School transcripts
Employment
Trading account
Living arrangements
Legal records
and finally they will give you extensive drug testing.

Now, you sure you still want that trading job? :D

yeah,
that's why these banks make such stupid decisions.

they select people because of this useless school and legal numbers...

they treat people like lean hogs...

school?
right :p :p

have you ever heard of somebody who finished college who invented something new in life...??

well, ok, exceptions exist.

JCS, if you're a good trader, good luck to you
and simply rely on your trading record.
