I see the usual losers are all agog as I point out obvious facts. How it hurts their brains to try to distort their view of reality to mesh with the few concepts that they allowed in. In their view of the world, I am an officer of the Klu Klux Klan, not Senator Byrd (D).

I find it absurd that some posters on ET have no clue about history. The KKK has long been associated with the Democratic party and not Republicans. This includes today in North Carolina where KKK members have run for office as Democrats in the 2012 elections.

As a follow-up - this may be a good time to post the story of North Carolina Governor William Woods Holden, who was driven from office in 1871 because of his efforts to suppress a Ku Klux Klan terror campaign.
When the state legislature finally turned Republican in the 2010 election after over 100 years as a Democratic majority - they finally held a vote in 2011 to pardon the governor. You may want to ask the Democrats why they never pardoned the anti-KKK governor for the previous 140 years.
