Transaction taxes now being debated in Illinois

Yesterday, CME Chairman Terry Duffy testified in Springfield on the proposed transaction tax. Democrats in Illinois want a transaction tax of $1 on agricultural trades, and $2 on everything else.

Duffy looks like a racketeer and indeed the CME Group is a "racket".....with little competition.
And here we go again with these "tax and spend" democrats.
No wonder Trump is winning in the polls.

It will be like California, businesses like tech have been moving into Austin Texas area cause less taxes and no state income taxes for individuals. Thinking CME would move in a heartbeat otherwise other exchanges will be adding instruments.
