What he said and what he thought may not necessarily be the same. We can check what he thought via what he did. He raised interest rates, so he thought it was a bubble. But it was not a bubble, it was a recession, which he did not see, and thought it was inflation, which he then turned into a 6 year depression. The bear market ended in 2011. It took him 6 years to get it.

get this through your head pal...there is no defeat. markets or fed or whatever can't 'defeat' me. they might f** up my decade old intraday games,but that's about it.i'm still doing what i suppose to do-investing into my IRA and all that s**, so i'm participating this rally more or less. the only blame or regret i have is on me-for not investing every f** penny of my profits during my best trading years 2007-9 into this mother of all ponzi schemes. that's all. what we are witnessing now is a rat race to the bottom between USA and Japan..it's a good game,but only if you know where to exit
 
yeah..Happy Thanksgiving..i just got my present from a state trooper. a 300$ gift for driving w/o headlights on + 2 citations for a seat belts. USA! USA!
you can ride w/o a helmet on motorcycle in Pa,but w/o a belt?-f** noooo.. makes a lot of sense..btw-it's my f** body,why the state should be care about it? land of the free..f** yeah..
 
nah..as i said earlier-i can't trade this..up every single day from flat open for a couple years in a row is not in my statistical model (and i'm pretty sure i'm not alone)
