OK, it's Thursday, a very weird day or days for me. I didn't sleep very well, because I kept a cat in the bedroom.
Why keeping a cat in the bedroom?
No, not for trading luck.
It'a a long story, I saw this backyard cat bleeding one day, and I decided to help her. After some examination, I concluded that it might be a miscarriage. It was a few weeks ago, the cat was in heat and possible got pregnant. Anyway, miscarriage in cats is serious, so I called vets (always vultures, remember that. They are not here to help you, they are here to make money, greedy bastards!). One told me to go to emergency room. One told me to find dead fetus somewhere. If not, the dead fetus might be inside the cat's body, and that would be very very serious.
I decided to wait, in the meantime I gave her antibiotics in case it was miscarriage and she got infection. She looked ok after a few days. Of course, I read about treatment in the meantime, from standard spay to pyometra to spaying while pregnant. All things pointed to one treatment: spaying. So I made an appointment with the vet. 7/18 was the date the spaying was done, due to "in heat" (thank god, it wasn't miscarriage), I was told after the surgery, I needed to pay more. Fine, no problem.
Problem is she is an outside cat, she likes freedom. But I must keep her quiet for a few days. No, bathroom/laundry room is not an option. So I kept her in the bedroom. Next came the learning process of E-collar. Made a few home-made ones. The paper/plastic one given by the vet later one was useless, torn to pieces by the cat.
Anyway, she jumped around a lot after the surgery and licked the incision (before I realized the necessity of E-collar). Many of us probably traded before realizing the necessity of _____. (You fill the blank). Even if you do realize the necessity of ______ in trading, you may not be able to stick to it.
The incision came open after a couple of days!
I went back and the vet put some more glue on it. They told me the skin layer was glued together while the inner layers were sutured with dissovable stitches.
This time, I used E-collar. No more licking!
But she continued to jump: tables, desks, window sills.
One time she got out. I tried to catch her but not successful for one and a half days. After I caught her, I found the incision not very satisfactory. So I took her to the vet again.
The vet learned her lesson and refused to touch my cat. She said last time my cat was crazy. She couldn't control her. She ran around in the operating room. So this time she insisted on sedating her. I wanted the vet to take a look at the incision to see if it's necessary to stitch the incision (My plan was to insisting on stitches, not glue). But the vet refused to treat my cat without sedating her. She planned to re-suture after sedation. I sensed that this idiot vet was going to do more harm than good!
I told thme to stop their invasive behaviors. Greedy bastards wanted more money for anesthesia drugs. But the following re-suturing was just too much to bear. Besides, the cat had food in the morning. I asked if it was dangerous to operate on the cat with food in her. They seemed to have forgotten that part. Well, greedy vets are for money, not for the safety of cats.
So I took the cat back and kept her in the bedroom until today. The incision is healing well. So far so good.
I couldn't sleep, because the cat woke me up at around 5 am CT.
Due to sleep deprivation, my mind is not working properly and that's why I feel weird.
Back to trading: The M thing doesn't work, to allow the M to work, you must change something first. Otherwise you won't allow the M to work. But if you can change that something, you don't need the M.
In the meantime, I lost sight of the cause of the problems, a few times. Strange, after so much time, I wasn't sure what causes all these problems.
Used to be two causes. Now it's one.
So I tried to focus on this one single cause. I consider it the cause of three problems.
So I try to face this single cause face-to-face. And I came up with a tentative solution. It worked a little bit. I reduced the hesitation at the entry, got a little bolder. Some progress there. I even took a "loss!" I was not supposed to use the word loss, so I put in brackets for myself.
Hopefully, this new solution will work better.
Landlady kept asking me when I would release the cat into the backyard. I don't want to do that because I want to give the cat more time to heal.
In the meantime, I dread the 5 o'clock wake up routine of the cat. There is nothing meaningful to trade at 5 or 6 or 7. Who is that idiot poster on ET who wants to trade around the clock? I used to do that, I even traded Hong Kong futures market. Strange things happened to newbies.
