Greece Passes Property-Tax Law, Clearing a Path for Additional Aid

Quote from Butterball:

Why do people bother posting non-sense articles about Greece being 'saved'?

Ever wonder why 1y bonds are trading at 130%? A default in one way or another is a done deal. Apparently some idiot media journalists have trouble understanding that.

It's not a default, it's an orderly restructuring. And the press is confused. Now about that bridge... :D

"BTW... same problem we face in the USA."
that is a given. when interest rates rise because market forces overwhelm fed manipulation the shit will hit the fan in the US.

My university econ. textbook taught me this is the way it should be. What happened?

My father is a Greek citizen that lives in the USA currently. He put it me like this. "Greeks dont and wont pay taxes..period". They can pass whatever token gesture the EU want them too, but they have zero enforcement tactics and measures. And most Greeks are more anti state than a drunk teenage anarchist from the UK.

unfortunately the virtue of patience is not taught in school. it has been deferred by the euro crisis.

another possibility is the old saying that the market can stay irrational a lot longer than u can stay solvent.

Quote from DT-waw:

yeah, dont pay taxes but love to receive pensions from germans.
germans should immediately quit wasting their euros.

I agree. Cut the line totally.
