When I read the Air Force went on strike I was shocked. I know the Greeks are lazy bums but c'mon.

When we bought hoover craft tickets to Santorini from Crete it took the lady 3 minutes to check the availability in the computer because she had to pause and chain smoke no BS! :D

The only sense of urgency I noticed was the desire to run each other off the road.

Hahaha. And like when you are walking down the street did you notice they walk at a snails pace as if they have all the time in the world,but give them a car or a scooter and its "lets see how fast this thing can go!"
 
Oh, I don't know.

A nice quiet life on Santorini, working maybe 4 hours per day. Enjoy a daily 2-hour lunch with a nice bottle of that local wine and maybe some fresh local olives and go home. Maybe play some tennis or maybe some sailing. Enjoy the sunshine.

Collect your union wages at the end of each week subsidized by Germans working 10-hour shifts at the Opel factory in Kaiserslautern living under perpetually dark sky, cold temperatures and constant rain/drizzle eating cheesybrauts and drinking beer all night at the local gasthaus then going home to their little flat and passing out.

Americans are hard workers for most part. Bankers, Doctors, Nurses, Lawyers are all overpaid, but they do work very hard for their money.

That is a great thing about America. If you work hard, you can be successful.

High-profile Wall Street bankers may be overpaid, but bankers at most local banks do not make a lot of money.

Certain medical specialists and surgeons are overpaid, but primary care doctors average only about $170,000 per year. That is a good salary, but with loans for 4 years of college and 4 years of medical school, it can often take over 10 years to get out of debt.

A lot of nurses in doctor's offices only get paid about $15 per hour. ICU nurses get paid about $30 per hour. I do not consider that overpaid for what they do.

Only about 10% of lawyers are super successful. The average lawyer makes about $55-100,000.

I'll tell you who is overpaid--contractors. I can't get anyone to dig a hole or paint a wall for less than $50/hour.
