Greece Bailout Spec?

What kind of choice do they have? Yes, we know GM and Ford apparently have done tons of improvements in the last year maybe because they felt they had no choice to survive. Even if some people think they should be allowed to suffer so they could solve their own problems, I remember the Asian crisis in 1998. One country goes down, others could follow. And we're just emerging from a recession.

What timing! How did Fitch determine they would downgrade Portugal RIGHT before an EU summit to discuss Greece? I wonder if this spells disaster for the whole planet. We're all freakin' connected. Now if I bunch of Euro countries start going down the toilet one after the other, there goes the US stock market, oil, Asian markets...
