The original idea of unifying Europe into a single economy having a single currency has not worked and the Greek tragedy is just one rip in the cloth.

new blocs will come into existense. a northern euro consisting of germany and parts of scandinavia and parts of eastern europe and surprise Iceland. the southern bloc will consist of latin countries inc. perennial loser france + some other losers.

Well you can't deny the defeat Tsipras is taking back home. A huge victory for honesty and moral values and defeat for lies and cheats.

None of the socialists in Europe can sell voters the lies anymore that there are freebies to be handed out. Money in exchange for hard work is the mantra.

What about Greeks asking the more than 100s of billions siphoned out by their own politicians and their families ( "oligarch")?

Corruption in Greece should be tackled by Greeks. Simple as that. Germany is not asking anyone to solve their domestic issues either.
