Greatest Financial Philosopher

Quote from Ripley:

Who is the greatest financial philosopher, financial mind of all time? and why?

Sun-Tsu, as evidenced in "Art of War."

Buying markets near support and selling markets near resistance is similar to fighting a war on uneven terrain, where the stronger force is atop the hill and the invading force is inherently at a disadvantage.

I don't know that I'd classify him as a financial 'philosopher,' but one of the most admirable practitioners of finance, IMO would be Ed Thorp. For the why, notice the emphasis on practitioner, as opposed to pure theorist.

hands down, 100%, without a doubt. It is Kenny Rogers.

The Gambler: " you gotta know when to hold'm and know when to fold'm"

"Know when to walk away and know when to run"

"its knowing what to throw away and knowing what to keep, cuz every hand is a winner and every hand is a loser".

I dare anyone,,, to find better quotes about the market, and a big plus the words are part of a great song.

KENNY!!!!!!
