Great Traders of the 20th Century

I'd like to speak to Whoever on this earth is closest to enlightenment.
Trading is easy once the ego is out of the way. Non-attachment as they say.

Any two bit half witted trader knows "Markets naturally go like this". Yeah right, whatever.

Quote from dgabriel:

We spoke about something else, an abiding lifelong interest of his which I share.

He did say at one point, "markets naturally go like this" and he drew a wave pattern in the air with his finger.

Quote from drobin:

If you could sit down and talk with one of the great 20th century traders who would it be and why?

All the answers are within you.

May sound obvious, but if you try to find the way to profitability in other people, your subconscious mind will generate the association that you are dependent upon others.

Better, try to imagine what it would be like to "be" some trader you admire. What would you perceive the world to be like? Or the markets? A loss? A profit?

There's nothing new on Wall Street.

My favorites

Paul Tudor Jones
Marty schwartz
Bruce Kovner
Dennis Richard

Sorry but I could not choose just one. My choices would be

1)...George Lane 2).... Joseph Granville and 3)...Ralph N. Elliott

My reasoning is simple...these were the originators of their studies and they knew the strengths and weaknesses of each respective discipline...what we are getting today is interpretations of their works. One item to note is Granville developed a tool that he only uses and from what I have been able to learn...it has NEVER been released to the public, but is highly accurate.

I'd talk to myself since I'm the greatest trader of this or any century! :D

I made well over 2200 points last week trading currencies with no losses.

Who can match that?

*busts up laughing*

Yeah... somehow, "humble" and "currency trader" (who nails over 2000 pips a week with no losses) just don't match. :D

lmao,
