Simple! If the market moves 3+ points his direction, he marks down 3 pts. If it moves 5+ points his direction, he marks down 5 pts. Of course all done in hindsight.

yes there r few days when we can sy lossing day like major news day like fed or the day market is very voltile like option exp. etc.what i do that when one 10 min bar is more than 5 points tehn i do not take trade with next bar on same direction ,
What's your risk:reward ? Where do you set put your stops ?
i try to take trade under or near res.for short and or long i try to grab long trade over or near suport.normely 2-4 ponits loss limit profit target 3-5 points
