Ok, for the moment GOLD doesn't react positively when markets are up or down.
This is obviously a downtrend squeeze. You can't fight vs it.
I know you are ready to buy more gold.
So IMO : good entry zone : 1190 / 1210. APEX gives an entry period around mid-october.
If 1190 holds : triple bottom would be confirmed.
First target 1400 then 1500.

oh wait, good news....i only did sim trades. whew....

don't worry LOS, there will be tons of support all the way down to zero. just draw trend lines....prices can never break good trend lines!!!!

I came to ET to do the Great Depression 2 thread, be correct and say goodbye - all expected to happen within 2 weeks. I was wrong, its been a month already. :)
 
don't worry, you will be right...............eventually. maybe in 100-years, maybe 10,000 years.....maybe when the Earth is enveloped by the Sun, around 1 billion years. but you will be right.

i'm waiting for bond yields to rocket higher and buy some municipals. i might have to wait years as well.

most were wrong on the housing bubble by at least a year.....wrong on japan by a few years.....it takes a long time for macro events to play out.........so on your 1,000,000 post it might all come true.
 
Great Depression 2: No need to subscribe to nothing amigos, I'm getting the book and the newsletter anyway, so all the info that's important will be in this thread.

I read a few days ago about the hoarding of Gold by central banks all over the world with Brazil being the #1 hoarder - the reason is that they fear the total destruction of the dollar during the Depression2\Deflation so having real money is the answer in their opinion.

The info on China is difficult to come by as its doing a lot of secret stuff in the Gold market. But this video has some good info about China too.

I won't be seeing the book for a bout 2 weeks due to shipping problems and backorders currently, but they are going to let me download newsletters within 3 days.

Wait until the big Fed meeting next week.....call your broker and tell them to cancel the 100 point stop. I do the same with Facebook. Long at 60 with a stop at 4 cents and just let it ride!!! You can't make money taking losses!!! You are only wrong if you take a loss!!!
