Bronks: You and Iceman rule!!!!!! Dazz and "wanna get close to you" are two songs that I still have here on 45's. War is actually a great band to expand here:
Cisco Kid
Low Rider
The World is a Ghetto

Also how about Tower of Power "So Very Hard To Go"

Man Pabst, are we showing our age or what?:p

Three Dog Night , Tower of Power, Blood Sweat and Tears, Average White Band, Old Santana (Abraxas), sheesh...I had all these on 8-track!

Yup, I had an 8-track player installed in my 79' chevy chevette.

:)

well, with her older age... her eyesight was likely diminshed... so how did she find it without a reading glass? ! :D

with a bit of luck and a lot of champagne :D kidding, nothing happened. We just danced :)

"Nuen und Nuensich Luft Balloons" (Ninety Nine Air Balloons)

Always liked this song from a German source that I don't recall. May also go by another name.

JohnnyK

How about some early 80's L.A. type chick stuff.

Divinyls: I touch Myself
Till Tuesday: Voices Carry
Missing Persons: Walking in LA
Go Go's: This Town

It's Mrs. Caracal (the big 80s / new wave fan on our end - Mr. Caracal was more of a metalhead at the time...)

Just wondering how the New Year's Eve bash shook out -- pls post final play list (inquiring minds want to know!...)

Also, no 80s compilation is complete without the Cult's "She Sells Sanctuary" (impossible to stand still when this song comes on...) and old (pre-industrial) Ministry -- I Wanted to Tell Her, Work for Love, etc.
