Frankly, as one who is living directly in a disaster zone, in a town that suffered 100% loss of power, I would say it is a danger to play politics (except for Romney in Ohio at a soup kitchen) as opposed to discharging one's duties as a civil servant and fighting for the betterment of your constituency.
