I have a portfolio that has shorts in it. It's been green all week. What in saying is that any day now these markets are going tonrally and all these 3x etfs are going to lose at least 15 to 20% in a week. This week is a very questionable week because we have the debate Tuesday and inflation data at end of week. This will only create volatility. A bad number meaning a tad over consensus will sent markets spiraling down since the fed is literally a second away from lowering rates ....with the vix above 20 we are going to see crazy swings this week..
And here I am short UVIX at around 5.60!
But holding $6 and $8 sell puts. So I can weather the storm either direction
To be honest a nice up day and I'll easily sell puts at 4 on uvix for this Friday hopefully at a 15 cents premium.
Ken is very good at getting out in time, then telling us about it. After he is happily in Vegas again it's time to get back in the pool!

speaking of, she Will be the next missus; other than prenup anything else I should do? Ima buy more SOXS. And viagara/rhino.

Soxs held up extremely strong today considering what could have happened by the close with the markets being green all day .....still more volatility ahead as inflation data is coming along with the fed making it's announcement next week.
I can see this rallying into CPI and possibly continuing if that number is perceived nicely.
If there's one thing we know about prior market bottoms these last few years is that they happen fast. We covered a lot of ground last week retracing half of September in just four market days.
It's not impossible Friday was the September low.
