Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

Very true. :D ;)
At the same time it isn't helping your cause when you vanish as soon as the market tanks. :p

By next week the carnage will be in full swing, maybe 1 screaming up day in between to convince the suckers to hang on.
This is purely wrt the SPY, I want to see price confirmation by next Wed before getting in

Next Wed? Pshaaw, the carnage may start tomorrow. Watch the 6 AM to 12 PM ET time slot. Fed blabber+NFP usually = volatility.

The trend is up. Buy the dips, make money. That's my cause. Everyone else can do as they please.

I marked the approx date on my calendar 2 months ago so waiting a few days more for price confirmation is no big deal :D
S&P 500

The Friday - Monday connection will boot out the early shorters :p

Relax folks it's all rigged to the upside by the central bank.

In which case markets would be going up infinitely, which they do historically, but what do you then do about market swings in either direction short term? Investing is not the same as short term trading after all. Nobody would be ringing bells at the end of a trend. Many traders want to maximise return by using leverage, this makes it a harder task even when only going long.

CPI inflation numbers in less than 30 minutes.

Expectations for 4.7% anything higher than that with a 5% handle and stocks will drop an easy 2 to 3%. But anything less than 4% and markets rally. I'm sure it will come in right in line. Don't want to risk it and have the fed move rates up because if they do you will see a great unwinding in these markets and a sell off of at least 30% within a few months.
