That’s bs . Bear mkts are measured in time and price . Time is what gets people to sell and feel real pain . It’s what washes excesses out and changes behavior. After an 11 yr bull mkt we stayed down for 5 weeks and within 3 months we were back near ath’s .Few felt any realized loses as it was in a blink of an eye . Now people believe stronger than ever they can never lose .

The only behavior that’s changed the last decade is short sellers . They’ve been taught like pavlov’s dogs to cover shorts fast or be wiped out .Thus few shorts will benefit from a crash any more than they would a normal trade as they won’t hold it .
