You'll never understand markets if you continually believe all this conspiracy theory bs. NA markets are being driven up by proven earnings expansion which has picked up significantly since early 2017. On this basis US indexes are only slightly expensive and the TSX is actually a modest valuation. In addition, the earnings expansion is particularly strong among industry leaders. Just buy quality firms with good numbers, they won't crater on a market correction and they will soar in a strong market.
