Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

This is prime time to move up. Bears have blown their load trying to get us down 2 days in a row, and the bulls have recovered each time with complete ease lol.
I think the bears, unable to have gained any ground from their efforts, will be out of ammo today which means the bulls should march ahead without any opposition, making for a nice upmove

I've learnt a bit about position size. I think with my account size, I can probably double the current size which means making more money. This ia like 29 'unites'. I think in the future I will do 10 units at a time (instead of messing about with 3 units for a position etc) and aim to have maybe 60 units on a full position

I know it's only my first ever week live trading, but $220 for the week isn't especially worth it. I'm looking to make at least $350-400 per week for now, so the maths seems about right
 
jamesblacktrader, what's the bid offer on this instrument you trade? And also do they charge financing if you hold overnight? And is it tax free on profits?
 
Id guess it's a CFD contract for difference.. not available in the US.. fine for small stakes but not as tight or secure as a real futures. no way the spread or roll is better

I know F-all about that sort of stuff i'm afraid.
But The spreads are very large. Larger than other spreadbet firms.
CMC and gkfx spreads are like 2849.2 / 2849.5
My spreads are 2849.2/2850

The rolloever example I found when I opened the account was:
Trading 1 lot of EUR/USD (short) with an account denominated in EU1 lot = 100,000, Pip value = $10, Swap rate = 0.54, Number of nights = 1Swap fee: (10 * 0.54 * 1) / 10 = $0.54

No Tax.

I'm gonna go too a different broker soon - maybe when I double my account to 10k o r whatever - They're just to get my feet wet.

I might even open a futures account with 10k, but tehn I don't want to pay taxes. Not sure what works out the best. Maybe better to go with a top spreadbet firm. Might work out the most profitable with spreads that are NEARLY as tight as the futures, plus no tax on winnings and no commissions
