Bought a 2060 call for friday @ 12.50....think I bought a bit high on that, but oh well. Will try to get out shortly.
those ES futs options can be hard to get filled on...market has to turn in a big way for them to even meet half-way...
Yeah you've got that right. I traded them the other day and ran into similar issues. Today Bid/ask was like 12.50/14 and I was having issues getting filled at 13.25. Ended up closing it at 11.25 for a small loss. 
My initial trade I was thinking on was buy dec vix, short jan expecting a little flattening of the curve. But I decided to go stupid and make a short term bet on the ES after reading the fed statement....oh well.
On Sept 17, spy/iwm/qqq options were basically untradeable for awhile just prior and after that announcement...I've kept that in mind for this one...basically there is no out once it starts moving (at least for a decent amount of time)...
