Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

The chatter is weak economic data stimulates hopes for more stimulus. Yes indeed, every dip will be met with renewed hope for more stimulus. Just buy the dips and make free money. This will be the easy money till year end. THERE IS ZERO RISK OF A MEANINGFUL CORRECTION.

Your a complete loser if you think we are going to correct over the next few months.. Listen to these half wits here and your guaranteed to make ZERO. Listen to me and have a very merry holiday season.

Ha! With all your guaranteed calls that nosedived? You must take us all for complete morons. Thank God folks have brains to see what's what. They won't offer more QE unless markets fall.

Hey price Change. Yes i m in Central Java, Indonesia. Wife and kids here. Singapore is 2-3 hours away. Do you miss the days you worked there? and do you still visit nowadays? Clean place and such good food. I stay in China town when i m in Singapore. Just woke up for a look at how the market did. Looks weak!

BTW, this is one of the best trading forums i've seen (if not the best), great place to hang around.

Yes, I miss Singapore...we liked very much to go island hoping to Pulau Ubin,
Kusu/St. John's Island, Batam on weekends. Loved to look for the best nasi goreng and satay and mei goreng each trip.

I have been back to Bali and also Malaysia East Coast Tioman, Redang and Perhentian islands. I like scuba diving a lot. My parents getting older and caused me to return to US to help them relocate to smaller flat...downsizing/simplifying everything for them....possible assisted living in near future

I do want to move back to Asia...trying to decide the best area for me? Singapore/HK maybe too hectic and expensive nowadays. I was looking at Phuket but not so sure anymore. Indonesia seems to have the best of everything for an Island lover like me :)

The markets essentially did a "front run" of the expected Sept/Oct weakness with that sly late August collapse...Here we are in the historically most volatile month and volatility was crushed...I think 2007 did something similar, but haven't looked at the chart in a few weeks.

this market looks so much like 2007 its not even funny :D

yea..when everyone has exited short positions or hedges and is fully long the free money train she will drop and drop hard....don't know when that will be but October looks safe.

You have been around! Those are top dive destinations in Malaysia (East Coast). Good food, beautiful panoramas. Sorry to hear about your parents, hopefully you find a good solution that makes everyone happy.

Singapore and HK great areas for city life (if you can afford it) and for kids, also great financial centers if you need to work again. Problems now are air pollution and the usual population density. Used to stay in HK every summer for three month on an remote fisherman island (Cheung Chau), loved it! Air pollution gave me a sore throat at the end of my stay, happened each time. Whatever you spend in Singapore or HK in one month, will support you 3-6 month in Indonesia or Thailand and you will live very comfortable.

IMO Phuket is too touristic (West coast), it looks like the beaches in France and Holland during summer (very crowded, colored umbrellas and tourists everywhere). It is calmer South and has beautiful sunsets.

The best diving destination in Thaiand i would recommend, is Koh Tao Island in the gulf, they have loads of scuba centers and a world class freediving school (Apnea Total). Corals not in the best condition but schools of gray sharks from live aboard!

For diving in Bali try East coast (Amed village at the straights of Lombok). Plenty of scuba center as well and a branch of Apnea total. Go for the Tulamben Wreck not much there, corals are busted.

If you are used to Tioman, Redang and Perhentian islands, i would recommend superior dive spots in Indonesia like "Bunaken" in North Sulawesi (Coral walls and drop offs) and "Raya Ambat" in Irian Jaya (Papua) this one is all over national geo channel, packed with whale sharks and considered world class destination (have not been there yet, but on my list!).

Another person with a SE Asia connection here. My wife is Sarawakian (Iban) so if we moved back there for any significant time we'd definitely be based out of Kuching. I wouldn't consider Thailand or HK myself, and Singapore probably wouldn't fly either - a bit too cina for us lah :D, we need our orang dayak and extended family around.

Myself, I stay away from Bali and prefer to visit less bule-infested spots in Indonesia as when I'm out there I'm usually trying to escape that type of thing (Western mentality/people) for the time that I'm there. I find alot of time that Western tourists "use" the destination rather than attempting to understand the place they're visiting, but more so the local/visitor interaction becomes annoying and monetary-driven and as a Westerner I have to deal with the associated expectations so as a result I'd rather spend my time in Bandung, Jogja, or Jakarta before a place like Bali. I also despise how Australians pronounce Malay words and Bali is their number 1 spot .

It used to be easier to travel around from Sarawak to Indonesia but due to demand and other reasons, Kuching seems to be less of a hub than they want it to be - hence KK is getting more traffic. This is a bit inconvenient for us as we used to fly straight from Kuching to CGK via AirAsia until they killed that route. Now it's either bussing or flying from KCH to Pontianak and then flying to CGK from there. BKI<>CGK is another route but usually take that flying out of Indonesia. Any other route requires going back to KL and that's going in the wrong direction for us.

Oh so every call must be 100% correct. Buddy you live in a fantasy world. I will match my calls against anyone on this board. What's your current position?

I'm just sitting on this till December. May add in Nov.
