in a market like this it might be very difficult to hold most of the day
 
But since neither of us are in this short it will probably move down a leg..tapping constantly on that 1977 and failing looks more and more like a good short

Yeah thats exactly what i was thinking now, bounce off 1970 all day then finally break it later in the day. lolgreat minds think alike.
 
"Trap and harvest" on a micro level as well...the market really has cannibalized itself...trap and harvest seems to be the only way to find any real liquidity...have to constantly lay traps so that someone is induced to bite and then you fleece them

yes, although I probably wasn't that clear...I think that it's symptomatic of how illiquid all of this has become...when I see CL whipping around 10% in a matter of days and this is a commodity that has huge ramifications on worldwide economies I can only shake my head...a 10% spike on something such as a war I can understand, but now it's just part of the trap and harvest algo strategy.
 
This is going to sound insane, but the more i watch this market today the more it looks like its setting up to just absolutely fuck the shorts, keeping with my arlier theme that this market goes where it causes the most pain, i think there is a very good chance we go green on the day now.
